Slum dog Millionaire in Tamil

The Oscar award winner 'Slum dog millionaire' is dubbed in tamil. The voice for the hero is given by Simbu.

It is released in the name of நானும் கோடீஸ்வரன் from 27th feb 2009.

Today, it is a remarkable day in Indian history because FOUR Oscar awards has been bagged by Indian performers. A.R.Rahman from Tamilnadu has got TWO Oscar awards for his Music and song Jahe Raho in "Slum dog Millionaire" film.



எல்லாப் புகழும் இறைவனுக்கே was the words quoted by him at the Oscar stage. It is proud to all of the tamil hearts to have our words spoken at that stage.

In addition, Slum dog Millionaire which was completely shot at Mumbai,India has bagged atmost of 8 Oscar awards.

Tirupur District Inaugurated

Tirupur has been added as the 32nd district of Tamil nadu. It is officially inaugurated by Mr.Stalin, Home Minister of Tamilnadu, today. It consists of taluks like avinashi, Palladam, Dharapuram, Udumalpet and kangeyam. Its temporary collectorate will be functioning at Palladam road, near Old bus stand.

Officially announced - Medical and engineering colleges will be reopened on 9th feb 2009. The reopen dates for other colleges were still kept under hold by the government.

Some More Rumours on colleges issue

As the reopen dates were conflicting from 9th and 23rd, it was told that the colleges may reduce the syllabus for this semester by 2 units if colleges are closed till 23rd feb. This is only a sms that i have got and may be a rum our.

As the elections are nearing and we have less time for semesters, this would be a great decision if implemented.
